Randy Reyes

Hip-Hop Recording Artist D.R.O.I.D., born Randy Rey Reyes Jr., originally from Houston, Texas moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas in the fall of 2009. After a year of college, he decided to take a break in order to pursue his passion for music. After dedicating a year to writing and recording, on September 6th, 2010, he officially recorded his first song to kick off his music-recording career as he poured his heart and soul into the song “I Did It For You”. The song was motivated by the sudden and premature death of one of his closest friends, an innocent victim in a drive-by shooting. His music was met with unprecedented positive reviews; he quickly emerged as a forerunner and arguably the best hip-hop artist in Austin. He has released multiple projects, and has continued to build a loyal and reputable fan base across Texas, California and New York. He has also been invited to open up for several national recording artists. D.R.O.I.D. continues to share his music with the ambition of one day being recognized as a national recording artist.
